Recently, the Mi-2 helicopters, which are owned by the Ministry
of Agriculture in Baghdad, have been approved to fly missions
for pesticide- spraying over date palm groves in central Iraq.
The pilots and support crews are Iraqi nationals and represent
the first use of Iraqi airspace by Iraqis since the outbreak
